'Minni'

9.4.1994 - 12.9.2005
On his way back from school my son found an abandoned kitten rambling on the streets of Kuopio. It was September 1994 when he brought the starved and ragged kitten home to us. We had 11 happy years together with Minni, this beautiful house cat.

Minni was only one of many abandoned cats, but she was lucky to find a home.
This autumn Minni got chased by a loose dog on our Sunday walk. She got very badly hurt, probably after a jump down from a high tree. We had to put her to sleep and send her to the rainbow bridge to her friends Prinssi and Elli.
We miss you so, Minni Tinninen.

'Prinssi'
sorrel somali

9.2.1992 - 12.10.2000
Prinssi was a Cat with a capital C, tomcat of all tomcats, king of Somali cats. A multiple BIS-winner and among others sire of the 5xWW Bluestream's Dundee. Prinssi's injured hip gradually lamed the gallant cat so that during his last summer he could not jump or walk properly, and now he is in the hunting grounds over the rainbow.

Heiskan Galadriel
'Elli'
sorrel somali

9.10.1990 - 5.3.2002
Elli was our first pedigree cat, an adorable and characteristic dame. Presumably Elli knew even how to read! Her intelligent and mysterious expression implied that we really do not know all about what our cats are doing while we are away. Elli maintained her playfulness even through her older, not always so fit days.

Pulla

.5.2001 - .8.2003
Pulla came to us from the Homeless Cats. I meant to give a foster home for one of the kittens that had been rescued from a cat community living on a small island. This shy little thing however, was very challenging to tame, so we decided to keep her. Once acquainted, Pulla expressed her affection with all her heart. Pulla had a lump in her stomach which we thought was an omphalocele, but it was a tumor. Pulla lived a short but intense life.

Missi I

1964 - 1969
Missi was my childhood's cat. She lived in the country during the summertime and moved to the town for winter seasons. Missi got lost. In the old days, for over 30 years ago, cats were let to go freely outdoors.
